So, after a tiny hiatus, I am returning to my project/present list. But let me tell you a story. I was very excited to start this next project because it was for someone very very special. I found this fantastic pattern on the internet that I knew she would love, and I even got in contact with the creator to ask for tips and suggestions on how to make the process easier and neater. Whilst perusing her tumblr (which has a bunch of pictures of her wonderful work), I came across another picture of the doll I had planned to crochet, and a little blurb at the bottom describing it. It turns out that that very very special person ALREADY ORDERED it from the original creator, so uh, you know, now I have to go back to the drawing board for project/present 3 -.- I guess that’s better though because it’ll be neater and nicer than what I would have made.
We have mynah birds on our roof! :D

I feel the love and support. Thanks, guys. You know, I haven’t had any ice cream yet…but my friends here at home brought me to get a mani-pedi (woohoo, first one in like…8 years!) yesterday, and then we rented and watched MIB II, and then we saw MIB III in theaters. So. Aliens are good. But I still need to eat ice cream and have a chick flick night. Yeah.
